Installing AutocompletePro requires roughly 400 KB of free disk space on your drive. If you are currently able to run a supported Web browser on your computer, you should have no problem running AutocompletePro. In addition to free space on your hard drive, you will need a supported Web browser and operating system , a computer with 256MB of RAM, a mouse or similar pointing device and Internet access.

Is your AutocompletePro "spyware"?

NO! We are completely "spyware" free. Period! AutocompletePro was specifically designed to provide a great user experience free of spyware, adware, data collection or other similar activities.
In order to achieve that goal:

• Autocomplete Pro DOES NOT monitor the websites visited by the end user for any purpose other then enabling search completion for these sites.
• Autocomplete Pro DOES NOT serve or facilitate pop-ups. Many applications are identified as spyware because they monitor end-user Internet usage and pop-ups. Autocomplete Pro does not engage in any such practices.
• Autocomplete Pro does NOT require you to provide any personal information. No email address, registration or other information is required to use the product. Unlike many other products, we do not attempt to collect data upon startup as a requirement of use.

In short, AutocompletePro provides a superior search experience on an ANONYMOUS basis and without any additional monitoring or other nuisances.

You can easily uninstall AutocompletePro using the instructions below for Windows XP:

4. Select the program with the text "AutocompletePro" (or our partner’s brand for a custom tool)
5. Click "Change/Remove"

You can easily uninstall the Toolbar using the instructions below for Windows Vista:

2. From the "Start" menu in Windows, select "Control Panel"
3. Under the "Programs" icon, select "Uninstall a program"
4. Select the program with the text "AutocompletePro" (or our partner’s brand for a custom tool)
5. Click "Uninstall" and then "Continue" to remove the Toolbar

If you reopen your Web browser and still see the Tool, you may need to restart your computer for the uninstall process to be completed.

I can see the Widdit functionality but can't find it in my control panel under "Add or Remove Programs". How do I disable the service?

Since the app does not show under "Add or Remove Programs", you are probably seeing it through one of our toolbar partners.
Our suggestions menu typically offers an "x" and "settings" buttons through which you can disable the service.

Why do I keep getting search completions by AutocompletePro after I uninstalled?

Please note that in order to uninstall AutocompletePro, all IE and Firefox browser windows must be closed during the uninstall process. Another easy and effective way to disable AutoComplete Pro is by visiting the AutoComplete Pro Feedback page. Once you click the "Disable" button, AutoCompete Pro will be turned off.
